definitely europe, but mostly because of the constant availability of america outside your door. travelling throughout the u.s. is a must though. it's not strictly the same culture everywhere you go, and that can be pleasant, or scary as hell.

    Europe...except I'd do it on a bike.

I believe I put Copenhagen on the list due to the hotties on bikes that someone posted.

Your presence alone counts as 3 votes against the American Tour.

So everyone talks about how exciting a European trek would be...
but I'm goingto take another angle. I think driving across the sates
is dull by comparison. You'll still see 7-11's and IHOP's. The people
all speak the same language and you're never more than a phone
call away from saftey. It's pretty safe stuff unless you ride the rails.

Anyone ever read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ?
One of the characters makes a point that fear is relative to how
far away you are from where you were born. example: If you're
naked locked outside of your house, it's not so scarry. If you loose
your keys on the other side of town, it's scarry, but not so bad.
If you loose you mind in the jungle... it's scarry as hell.

So that's why Europe can be way more exciting than the US.
