Before all of you get upset, I've searched threads and have come up with little or no info on it. I was wondering how many of you have taken it and any success stories. I want to know of any side effects and such.I am very intrested in gaining muscle mass. I weigh 145 and have been working out along with cardio. I'm tired of being so small and don't know what else to do. I've been taking some amino acids but thats pretty much it. Any information is greatly appreciated.:D

haha my swimming coach tried endlessly to get me on creatine. i have a huge bottle of it, and it's never been opened.

 

if i really wanna gain weight i'll just quit going to the health club exclusively for smoothies and cool food, and actually lift something.

 

a friend of mine who was on it had raging mood swings, like making his mom cry constantly. well maybe that was due to the other drugs he was on.

I don't really see why you'de want to be bigger beyond a fitness thing. ( Obviously taking creatine wont do much for you health ).

 

If your on some macho "having man boobs makes me more masculine" tip here are some points to consider -

 

1) If you cant fight now. Being bigger won't help much. It will only increase the embarresment you feel when some normal sized guy who's all foaming at the mouth beats you down and increase the whooping you get when bigger dudes want to fight you. If you care about being able to fight. Go learn some sort of fighting system. Or just go and fight lots and lots of people in order to gain some experience.

 

2) Most of society do not find overly muscular guys attractive with all the random bulges and veins sticking out. Ask your female friends for more details.

 

3) Most guys won't give a fuck. Those who do normally buy into that whole "Having man boobs makes me more masculine" thing and aren't very interesting/ worthwhile anyway. Some more pea hearted types might find you intimidating. But then, why would you want to intimidate them? If its to somehow make yourself feel better...well.. thats just retarded... you may aswell go and pick a fight with a stranger instead and gain some fighting experience. I can only presume, if you need things of this nature to make you feel better than you must have some pyschological hang up. So when you go to fight strangers I recommmend screaming "YOUR NOT GOING TO TOUCH ME ANYMORE DADDY!" before you punch them. Not only will it be theraputic, it will weird out your oppenent and amuse who ever is standing by watching.

 

4) I guess it varies where ever you go. But where I am, there is a definate value consensus that people over build themselves up to unatural levels must have small dick's . Now I don't know or care if it's true. Infact I don't like thinking about it. But consider this. Every time you meet a anyone... they are automatically going to assume, atleast on some sub-conciouse level. That your inadequate, one way or another. This might proove to fuck your career as a porn star right up.

I know a guy that was using it every other day and he started to notice that it was rough on his brain. Straight up. He is about to graduate college and he said he has noticed a great deal of change in the amount of time that he is able to study or concentrate on anything at all.

i'm small it's not about trying to beat peoples asses I'm just intrested in getting bigger that's all I've been lifting for a while but I'd like to be bigger haha all you guys are takin this a lil far but thanks for the help :D Oh, any other tips then on getting bigger without creatine then + more creatine stories would be nice....thanks again.

I'm intrested in muscle mass, I'm not some kid who gets pushed around silent bob it's just other stuff I've tried hasn't worked ....it's a little odd that you put that much effort into typing all that out but thanks for caring hah

i have been debating taking creatine for some time now, because of my time frame that i go to the gym at the moment i go for about 35 to 40 minutes give or take some rest time and all thrown in and i got m-f and rest sat and sun, i do no cardio or anything like push ups or sit ups i straight lift weight be it machines or free weights and was feeling that creatine would better my short time at the gym and let me get more bang for my buck in a way while i was going at the times i am now. but i gave up on all that crap id rather spend teh 40 on alcohol :cool:

every girl i've ever come in contact with that has even the slightest hint of class agrees that overbuffed muscleman gymrats are whack.

 

as far as i know, girls like slim & cut.

 

just run or swim tons of laps to stay slim (swimming will tone your muscles well) and do moderate weight training for mass. fuck roids they'll make your nads into rasins.

if you want to get big then olift weights.and know that when you going for bulk. repitition of weights doesnt matter.......its better to do five reps of eight sets of 150lbs. than to do 30 reps of 8 sets of just fifty... and another thing is make a workout list or routine prior to going to the gym and dont stop until everything on the list is done.....remeber to give you muscles time to rest.(dont go to the gym constantly) you muslces grow when they are resting........

yeah i wouldnt mind settling with getting cut for now. I have talked to some girls and they feel its intimidating when a guy is all big. What can i do to get cut, less weight and more reps right? and for mass mroe weight and less reps. :confused: WEll for now i'll get cut and maybe down the road ill go for mass. It seems far fetched but eventually I want to get as big as Ed Norton in American history X (only thing i could think of since i just saw that the other night heh) Thanks Again

And to all you heds taking creatine that shit is wack! Serious, it's been redflagged for health risks, it is banned in the military now. Makes your heart accelerate to abnormal levels. Yeah and that shit will fuck with your head. I knew a dude who took that shit for years and he seriously got a personality disorder from it. Like overly flirtatious and aggressive. Yeah. Not only that but he started getting testosterone deposits in his scalp. I forget what the condition is called. It's ill though. Looks like your brain is poppin through your cranium. Straight silly. That shit is testosterone.

 

Anyways do it the old fashioned way. No harm in that. The bodybuilding market is flooded with hype and fakes and shit so you can't trust nothing. At least i don't. Just get lots of protein and vitamins and shit and work out. Like my man said more weight less reps builds strength, less weight more reps tones muscles. The program I use and most of the professionals I know advocate doing a pyramid. Find your max weight, then do 3 sets of 75% your max weight of however many reps you can do. Then do 3 sets of 90% your max weight, then do 3 or more sets of 50% your max weight and burn out. Work out your muscles in groups and be sure to let them rest at least a day before working that group again. You can work other groups while the group you worked is resting.

dont take cell-tech, muscle techs products are ridiculously overpriced and they hype their shit up way too much... also cell tech has around 70grams of sugar for each serving, thats just straight up not good for you. and creatine isnt gonna put on any wieght except water weight, and yes you have to take creatine everyday.

honestly just eat, eat and eat. here i'll give you the diet im currently on:

 

meal one: 3 scoops of optimum nutrition whey protein with 16 oz. of skim milk, 1 banana, and 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter (i blend this in a bleander with around 5 ice cubes)

 

meal two: 10 egg whites with one yolk included, and around 5 slices of ham, with one cup of orange juice

 

meal three: two large chicken breasts, grilled (i usually marinade it in kc masterpeice's honey teryaki sauce) and around half a plate of brown rice, and one glass of iced tea

 

meal four: one 1lb shell steak and 1 large yam

 

meal five: usually chicken again, sometimes its the same as meal 3, other times i have around a cup of pasta with the chicken

 

meal six: is the same as meal one (this meal is my post workout meal)

 

meal seven: either 8 egg whites or one can of tuna, depends on how im feeling

 

i also take multivitamins and efa (essential fatty acids) everyday. this is a bluking meal plan. i barbeque all the chicken and steak, and i prepare my meals in advance on sundays and wednesdays. you should gain around 30lbs in your first year on this plan, after that your body will plateau and will become used to eating like this. and work out. 12 sets per body part, keep your reps in the 12-8 rep range, only work one body part per day.

I think he got used to the appetite, I’m more marveled at how he has the time to eat all that. I guess it’s not that hard if you plan it out, like he says he does.

 

Fuck that creatine shit. It’s like people who say that ecstasy ain’t that bad for you because it hasn’t been proven.

o dude im not saying its easy to eat that meal plan...i eat until i feel like im gonna yuke, and usually throughout the day i feel sick as hell. i try to eat every three hours, and honestly eating is like my job. i drive home in between classes just to eat. i pretty much made my schedule around my eating times. a lot of my pay check goes to food and supplements. and yeah i got used to eating like this, i wouldnt start that meal plan off right away, start slow. my body is so used to eating every three hours that if i miss a meal or dont eat until say 5 hours after my last meal i get sick hunger pains. also i dont see cratine as cheating, but i also dont see steroids as cheating. it all depends on what your going for.

You get used to eating after a while as your metabolism increases. For building mass eat alot of carbs and protein. Also you can eat 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 big ones to increase your metabolism since you are digesting more often. I just eat 3 big meals since I don't really need to increase my metabolism any more.... I would be hungry and eating constantly.

I eat like 5-10 lbs a meal so my weight seems to fluctuate alot.

Fuck the creatine. Go protein. It's natural, and better for you. Protein shakes, and foods that are high in protein and low in fat like tuna, baked/flame-broiled chicken, and fish.

This is very interesting, because it reminds me of someone at my job. People seem to confuse being "big" with being able to fight.

 

There's this guy at my job, I must add that he's the biggest joke I've ever met in my life. We're in the military so we have lockers for uniforms/personal items, etc. This guy fills his locker with nothing but all types of creatine and various other workout pills and shit. And then he complains that he has no room for his clothes. Anyways, he uses his "physique" (he only has the form, but isn't even cut) to try and intimidate people. And time and time again he gets his ass handed to him and embarrassed. The biggest embarrassment for him was when he came out of the shower trying to punk people to tell everyone how tough he is, so this other guy simply picked this fool up and then body slammed him, and then snatched the towel from around his waist and flung it across the room. Mr. Muscle Man was nearly crying while trying to cover his nuts. He's bigger than me and on several occassions I've whooped his ass. He has no strength or fighting skills. But he still seems to confuse creatine doses with the ability to fight, as he keeps going around talking shit to people. I've never seen him win one fight to date. And the lowlife actually brags that "if you didn't know me, you wouldn't fuck with me..." which is basically saying that "I'm all looks, but have no fight in me to back it up."

and get even better results that creatine or protien

alone. :o
