COMPUTER HELP!!!!!

    is there any possible way to recover files after putting them into the recycle bin and emptying it??? i think that i am fucked, but i was hoping that one of you computer geniuses would be able to help. thanks for all of your help

    do not save anything until you try to recover the file. download a file recovery program, install it on a different drive or partition. if you don't have one you might be able to install it on a cd, if not you need to install the program on another computer and connect it to yours via an ethernet cable.

    Fuck a recycling bin, im about to throw this computer in the bin. Fuckin thing always freezing and going ass up on me. I gave it quite a good beating, the mouse is broken now though which sucks.

    seeing as this is a computer problem thread, any one got any clue how to find my "recieved files" ting?
    i may or may not have deleated it, but i cant see how. im not that dumb...

    help?

    open a new msn window with someone, at the top left click File, you should see 'Save, Save as..., Send File or photo, Open recieved files'. if not, try running a search for 'recieved files' or something.

    ^^just tried that and got "that folder is unreachable, it may have been deleated".
    no shit sherlock..

    check your options. see if your folder is somewhere else.

    you can always try System Restore to sometime before you deleted your files... but System Restore sucks, takes a ton of space, and can also harbor viruses
