Guest beardo Posted January 26, 2002 Share Posted January 26, 2002 i dont know what the fuck is going on here. im trying to defragment my HD but its not going so well. the shit was pretty bad to start off with since i have never done it since i got the thing. when i ran speed disc to defragment it said it didnt have enough room. ok, i can handle that. so 7 zip discs full later, i have only 2g on my 6g HD.. and it still says i have not enough room. i think i may have served only to make the fucker more fragmented now that i took a ton of shit off. what am i doig wrong, and where do i go from here. is it beyond repair, do i need to erase and start again? holla, thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest WebsterUno Posted January 26, 2002 Share Posted January 26, 2002 You can run Norton Disk Doctor. That would help. Its probably a bad file thats corrupting your system. So if you run disk doctor, it will find it, and fix it. Then you can defragg you mac. If that doesnt work, you might have to reinstall your system software. But everything can be saved, programs, files, etc. into a folder on your hard drive. Or, try checkoing the apple site, and see what other people have to say.
