this ones for the art schoolers...
i'm stuck in a rut it feels like..
been doing the same stuff recently, more
focus on color, and now i'm kinda just at a loss
what to do with it next....like i start out with the idea
of dividing up the space with my color choices,
then i just stare at it with no clue what to do next...
no subject ideas, no anything....its just a big blob of
colors..which is fine in a sense, but its that feeling
    of not being complete...in limbo...
anyone have some ideas for getting out of it?
  2. Yeah i know how that feels...

"You are not ready yet, the answers within are waiting for the proper Question... start something new, totally irrelevant. Move on...one thing leads to another you'll be back with the answer or with a better question"

BROWN, i am kidding with the yoda stuff, however i mean that.

    It sucks when that happens

yea.....haha...its funny, i've got 3 on the go, one of them from months ago thats just in total perpetual irreversible limbo it seems..
i try the time thing......hasn't helped yet.
i also tried to just go with flow, and just do whatever comes out....
but obviously i'm not good enough yet, cuz it never works....
maybe its my initial approach..of rarely having a solid plan..........

start somewhere else. i like to just throw down a couple random lines and figure it out as i go along. makes for new shapes youd have never thought of.
  5. ...I know, it seems that this whole conversation is useless since i'll never know what exactly are you workin on and furthermore what is it that you're searching.
I am saying this to vindicate my self from sounding like a jerk when i say that it seems that you must put aside your judgement on what you do at the moment and just do it.This is not exactly a "go with the flow" situation cause its sure you'll suffer in the way.Maybe your judgement is blocking things right now.

It happened to me a lot of times,painting/drawing something ,from letters to portraits, feeling that i've done shit at the end of the day and after a while that i look at it again i see something good in it.

I have to say that all above maybe crap cause i really dont know the situation, just said the first thing that came to head.

    fair enough.
i think my problem is i'm holding myself back from
letting loose becuz i'm pretty broke and i don't have
supplies and surfaces galore.....fuck ups are permanent
right now if you catch my drift...
placement is a real head game sometimes..
not much i can do i guess...i'll just pick my nose
    for awhile..
