common sense VS. book smart >>>>>

Discussion started by Pfffffffffft - Jun 17, 2004

ok, your boy Pffft is sick and tired or dumb people around him doing dumb things...

i will be the first to admit i dont do the "right" thing all the time but damn!!!! i have a lot of common sense in all situations...i am very aware of what is going on around me and most of the time know how to avoid accidentsand conflicts, i know how to deal and talk to all walks of like of any age.ect. ect...i am working on the book smart stuff now...

but people piss me off on a day-to-day basis because of their unawarness of what the hell is going on around them....

    example:

    drivers on the road..
    co-workers who slack...
people walking in the store when it is crowded..
    ect. ect.

just curious how some of you feel about this...

Common sense is a very key structure. Anyone can study and read books and NOT have the right attitude towards life. All bout how you present yourself.

damn i clicked this thinking it was going to be a thread about common sense the rapper. well as long as im here i might as well give you my two cents i believe common sense and book smarts should go hand n' hand ya know. because you cant truly be an educated person without having both. and i agree that everywhere that you go there seems to be stupid people and that due to lack of common sense. because i have noticed that alot of people that are very good at academics school work, and such are the biggest fucking idiots when it comes to every day things. so you need to have both. i think common sense is more valuable than book smarts but you still need both:rolleyes:

I'd say 'book smart' would win because he hasn't gone all soft and started wearing Erika Badu's clothes.
