Yor're a 3ds max user, right? Can you reccommend any tutorials or anything? I'm new to 3ds and could use a few hints. Thanks.

well, first of all, i recommend learning the interface of 3dsm. it is definitely helpful to know where things are and get a good idea of what they do. second, i'd go to 3dcafe and then go to "free stuff" and find the tutorials. do some simple tutorials to start out with, you'll get the hang of things pretty quickly...another thing to do is to try out the 3dsm tutorials that are in the program. they contain alot of nice info on the program itself. also, check out deviant art scroll down the left side and find "tutorials" they hav alotof 3dsm "abstract" art type stuff, as well as some helpful tutorials on making "things"
good luck with that stuff. once you get to know the program and get comfortable with it, you'll figure out some really cool things about it.
