I was locked my my locker for 3 days and had to re-drink my own urine to survive,
but no body called me an artist!

(none of that ever really happened)

Chris Burden gained international attention in the 1970s as an influential and often controversial figure in the West Coast body art, performance and Conceptual Art movements. Investigating the psychological experience of personal danger and physical risk, he used his own body as an art object in outrageous, sometimes shocking acts, aggressively confronting the artist/audience relationship and the artmaking process.

    reminds me of jackass

also reminds me that nothing is original

i've heard of him before, he also did another performance piece where he jumped down from a platform onto the hard floor and just fucked himself up, i don't know how high it was, but it was high enough to hurt...

i would say it's art, definitely art
