besides the obvious name for a kiddie porn flic, it is the name of the "willy wonka and the chocolate factory" remake that tim burton is doing. and yeah, im sure you will be able to guess who is starring as willy wonka.

Whats wrong with the first one??? But I have faith in Tim Burton and Johnny Depp so I'll let them have their fun. However, if they fuck it up, they are going to have some nasty letters in their mailboxes.

Edit: I also agree that Gene Wilder is the shit.

Didn't someone already make a movie called Charlie and the chocolate factory with a similar story?

    Word.
Tim Burton is king, if anyone can do it well, its him.
It will never be the original but it will be sick.
Roald Dahl + Tim Burton = Quality entertainment.

^yeah, i think that tim burton is the one to remake this film, they are probably fans too, they would wanna stay true to the original film, but add new elements as well. the tim burton aesthetic will be sick in this movie...

You must've been a little pussy when you were a child then. Those oompas only sang stanzas of wisdom. Are you scared of all midgets then? What about in the Wizard of Oz?

I loved the first one too. Gene Wilder is one of the best actors out there. But I heard that Roald Dahl wasn't really pleased with how the first one was done, so he said that if there was a re-make, then Tim Burton would be the only one to do it. Or something like that. It'll probably be pretty awesome though.

Is it raining? Is it snowing?

    Is a hurricane a-blowing?

Not a speck of light is showing,

So the danger must be growing.

Are the fires of Hell a-glowing?

    Is the grisly reaper mowing?

Yes, the danger must be growing,

For the rowers keep on rowing,

    And they're certainly not showing,

Any signs that they are slowing!
