On top of it, I didn't even get my sticker because my car is up for a smog check this year. So now i get to go to SF tommorrow, deposit yet anoither check, smog my car and limp BACK to the DMV and wait some more just so they can go "Ayup, that looks smogged to me, ayuh." Fuck owning a car. I pay about $1450 a year insurance and my truck gets about the same gas mileage as a civic if I don't push it hard. i love that truck. oneeightyone Posted October 29, 2004 Share Posted October 29, 2004 insurance for me is 2460.00 a year, but that does include a life insurance plan that i took out on myself just in case something happens one day painting the good ol' train track walls. registration cost me around 300.00 emissions cost about 20.00 inspection cost about 20.00 oil change i do every 3000 miles, which living here turns out to be every 2 months. about 30 bucks for everything. either way owning a car is a bitch...oh and filling up that tank is about 30 bucks. about twice a week. fuck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
