have you ever thought about how everything is

completely nothing? it's like a dichotomy, one side is

reality(the mass perception), the other side is real

'reality', which is that none of this makes any sense,

none of it matters, there is no knowing.

that's my cue...bed time.

yes.

and also mr. koppel has mail.

over and out,

and also, things matter because of the way things make you feel. of course if you want to pretend you're an andriod then thats fine but I prefer to indulge in life.

but really, none of it makes any sense but that doesn't mean it doesn't matter.

Quotes like these make me stupid...paragraphs like browner's make me anxious...can you handle nothing?...thats a hard one for me.

As i was reading all that..i was thinking about cage's picture...greyscale...there must be some tonal area that matches the 12oz background..still it doesnt appear as a 'hole' in the picture...word.

john cage is ill...there's this one john cage piece where they start off with a turntable and they take the top off and use the needle as a really sensitive microphone and just use all types of objects to make sounds, and it becomes this long drone...it's kind of hard to explain, but i wish i knew what the name of that piece was.

not really good or bad... just an observation.

though i tend not to agree w/ it personally... basically it's the sensory world (formal reality) and the mind (objective reality), and he works that into a form of dualism called interactionism.... but the thing is, he has this circular logic to prove the existence of formal reality that depends on God, and he then uses that reality to prove the existence of God.

as far as recommendations... depends what you're into... Camus is probably the most reader friendly (he won the nobel priz for literature), but you can't really appreciate his arguments w/ out prior knowledge dealing w/ empiricism and such
