b/d Posted January 18, 2002 Share Posted January 18, 2002 Beautiful/decay magazine is proud to announce its first artshow for 2002 BUCKET/BRIGADE In Bucket Brigade 6 graffiti artists (Sigh DOS, Dyer MDS, Kyle LTS, Elk DOS, Jedi MDS, and Stab PA) are let loose in Satan’s Halfway House to paint site-specific murals/installations directly on the wall. There is no theme or subject matter that will tie these 6 works of art. There is only one rule: Absolutely no spray paint can be used in any part of the installations. Since real graffiti belongs on the street, we are not asking the artists to try to replicate their street work inside a gallery setting. Instead we want them to push the boundaries of what graffiti artists are “allowed and not allowed” to paint.
