Tonight, me and some friends made this board with five wheels. We're calling it a landsled, and it can ride down grass hills. It completely brings the funk. Mosquitos on the other hand really aren't funk, and i have a big fucking mosquito bite on the corner of my forehead.

Unfortunetly we couldn't get any footage of it in action since it was too dark, but soon, very soon.

WORD! You got those pics up quick Scoj. That sled was totally my idea. Scott's the videographer. We are gonna get destroyed on that thing. You got the name wrong though, its not the Land Sled its the "Summer Sledder Oner". Once we've got some more intense pics we will be back.:king: :king: :king: :king: :king: :king: :king: :king:

Go to the hardware section of home depot or just ask someone there where the "casters" are. They're wheels pre-mounted on the metal things and they're actually really fast. We took the Summer Sledder Oner for a spin last night down this fairly big hill, and once we find a bigger hill it is gonna be epic. We should have pics and footage any day now, Scoj's camera just doesn't have a night mode, so we have to shred during the day.

can a non-funkster post in here?

well, i will. you guys got that board thing all wrong. we used to make those in middle school, but mainly on concrete paths and hills.... but you have to put some steering on it. attach a piece of borad about two inches wide and a foot longer on each side on the front bottom part, use a bolt (a rounded top one) and some washers in the middle, so it can pivot and turn then attach two sets of the wheels to that board. we laid on our stomach , if you are on your back you may need to make necessary modifications.

Haha, it sounds like you're really an expert at this. However, I don't think the point of this thing was to actually do precision riding, we just want to get some incredibly GNAR bail footy. It just needs to go fast as hell. The thing can turn, you just need to slide the turns, which isn't a problem since we hooked it up with slicks  .

well, we took it for another run tonight, and we attempted to film with my camera and a large flashlight. It didn't overly work, and the idea was killed when the flashlight was devestated. This night mission also resulted in me being completely eatten by mosquitos. I'd say i easily have 40 bites. Probably ten on face and neck, about 15 on my back, and FIVE on my left elbow. So, unfortunetly no footage as of yet, very soon, most likely tomorrow or the next day, we're going for a daytime ride so we can actually film this shit. I'm going to check out the attempted footage tonight though, so if anything came out at all, i'll post pictures, or if someone tells me where i can host videos i could possibly get a video up if theres anything worth while.

edit to add you're also in for some pictures of me attempting the gallon milk challenge from awhile back...

Well, this is the only picture of the night that was worth uploading(and all it is is a close up of my eyes, while sweating...), all the actual filming of the landsled in motion was too dark.

http://www.seemesmile.com/photos4/3009546a.jpg'>

but, after having the footage forever, i finally uploaded some pictures of me attempting the gallon milk challenge, but first let me set the story up.

I'm sure many of you have heard that its impossible to drink a gallon of milk in an hour and then hold it in for 20 minutes after you finish. Being the big fan of milk i am, and slightly compulsive, i claimed i'd be able to do it, so finally me and some guys decided i'd attempt it over at my friends house one night. This definitely wasn't funk at the time, but now when i watch the video, i laugh the whole time

we start off the scenario with me and a gallon of milk, and some haggard ass gear(a sleeveless sparkly black shirt, a sleeveless collard white shirt, and this raggedy old brown coat i stole form my dad)

http://www.seemesmile.com/photos4/3009547a.jpg'>

http://www.seemesmile.com/photos4/3009549a.jpg'>

after finishing off about a third of the gallon in like 10 minutes i was feeling pretty confident and continued drinking at a pretty fast pace.

http://www.seemesmile.com/photos4/3009548a.jpg'>

But once i started getting past half way, it started getting painful. With three of those big blue cups remaining, i puked back up a decent amount of milk(the stream was as thick as in the pictures and lasted for a good 8 or 9 seconds).

after puking, i proceded to spend most of the rest of the night in the bathroom shitting out the rest of the milk i had drank. At the time, definitely one of the stupidest things i had done...its still incredibly stupid, but now i get a damn good laugh out of it.

Also, for those of you who don't know, a gallon of milk is around 7 or 8 pounds worth of milk.

I don't think i ever cleaned that shit up...it just evaporated with the snow. :o We're gonna have to do this summer sledding in the day so we can get some footage, especially now that i blew up the light. Sorry man
