    hi i live in a college dorm and they have protection against using p2p filesharing things so i can't get as much free music as i like. i use an ethernet cable. any suggestions on what to do?

    if torrents work try www.isohunt.com or www.suprnova.org. both are super fucking slow though.

    method #2 is saving the following link into your bookmarks:
    javascript:Qr=document.selection.createRange().text;if(!Qr)%7bvoid(Qr=prompt('Keywords...',''))%7dif(Qr)location.href='http://www.google.com/search?q=%3Fintitle:index.of%3F+mp3%20+'+escape(Qr)

    it's a javascript (duh) that'll run a search through google to find any open indexes that might have what you're looking for. speeds on this are a lot better.

    Connecting to the p2p using Anonymous Proxies may work.

    I think Ares has this feature built in.

    If not search google or download.com for a way to connect using anons.

    suprnova.org is usually pretty fast for me. even some off the wall stuff i'll get good speeds.

    you can def find some good shit there but everything ive downloaded has gone slow.

    check somewhere like www.astalavista.com for ways to bypass firewalls. Using an alternative proxy should work, but also try to somehow use a different port (as it is often the port that is blocked).
