Guest 455
If they didn't get back together with Grand Puba for this installment then I don't think I'll be checking it out anytime soon---I can only listen to Sadat X for so long before I want to shoot myself... Ethreadzny2
Brand Nubian: Fire In The Soul By Topher Sanders It’s been more than half a decade since we’ve heard from Lord Jamar, Sadat X, Alamo, and Grand Puba as the collective Brand Nubian. In that time, the quartet has kept busy with solo projects, acting, and simply being family men. Now signed to Babygrande Records, Brand Nubian is prepped to reintroduce the industry to a cohesive quality lost in the age of obsessive guest spots and trendy production techniques. Ethreadzny2
yep puba is back on this album. They claim that on this album they are bringing it back to their roots, however I dont really know how quality this album can be. I am a huge fan of early brand nubian, However I didnt really like any of the solo albums either.

bigpoppa.k
just go to http://www.brandnubian.tv they got bits of 5 songs on the main page... shits pretty dope.
BURLAP
i'm a fan of old brand nubian, but those web samples are coming off real contrived and indistinct, even worse they claim 'it's brand new baby, it's brand new'. and lord jamar sounds like prodigy on one track, then next somebody is sounding like cormega(general queensbridge/mobb deep production vibe included)..pooey. SHUTMDOWN
this page lets you listen to snipets of every song. not really fellin it. do yourself a favor and go classic and pick up "In God We Trust" if you dont already have it. Much better beats, and No Puba = 100% good lyrics. If I only had 12 bucks today, believe I'm coppin Mobb Deep.
CLICKCLACKONER
Brand Nubian are really reaching on this one. Even if it is with mc grand pu' comin' straight from the babalu. They haven't really come out with anything strong since "Wake Up" days. Damn, that album was hot, especially the SD50 remix. Whatever happened with that production group? Like over-programmed beats and sped up soul samples? All those songs sounded like garbage.
