    books and vitamins

    Discussion started by isor357 - Feb 14, 2006

anybody got any insight. I never have an appetite too much stress and anxioty therefore i rarely eat. About 5'11 and i weigh 145. I am probaly missing out on necessary vitamins and nutrients. Anybody recomend good suppliments? Anybody know anything about antioxidants? I hear they real good for you... something about natural cancer fighters? Anybody know of anything that encourages the appetite. Makes you hungary... cant smoke i get tested. I been eating Flinstone chewables but they for kids. Can vitamins suppliment food as long as you eat a little? I figure i get about 1100-1400 calories a day and im full. Some days i dont eat a thing. No appetite. Dont know what to do about it

Books. Ready 5 this week. Nothing better to do. Schinderlers List, Sullivans Score, The Hades Factor, The Walls of Jerico, and a religious romance that sucked. I would recommend any of the top 4. Much better than TV. First books i read for pleasure in as long as i can remember
anybody recomend a book for me?

If you want to increase your appetite you should exercise. If you haven't been eating much then your stomach is probably shrunk too, so you'll have to work on stretching it out. If I'm exercising regularly I can eat like 5 meals a day and not even blink. You don't necessarily need alot of vitamins and supplements if you are eating right.
As for books, I'm reading "The Making of a Graphic Novel", by Prentis Rollins now. Yup I'm making a graphic novel.

dude im your height at 165 pounds. you need to start eating right and working out. Just uhm... well if i were to give you a diet i'd say. Eat eggs, brown rice, and chicken in the morning. Then eat like yogurt for brunch. Then for lunch eat meat, like a steak or something. An hour or 2 hours later eat another snack like fruits. Then for dinner eat vegatables and uhmmm more cow or fish.

Make sure you eat vegatables for dinner so you dont get hungry again later....this only applies if your excercising along with the diet though.

but.....not like your gonna follow it.

    Why Relacoreâ„¢?

Because it works! Relacore is a non-sedating, mild anti-anxiety mood enhancer that reduces stress-induced cortisol production by helping to minimize stress. Not only can Relacore reduce belly fat in conjunction with proper diet and exercise, but it also helps balance hormone levels that cause stress-induced belly fat and encourage overeating.
Relacore is entirely stimulant-free, with no known side effects. By including Relacore in your daily routine, you will reduce stress, decrease mild anxiety, improve your mood, increase your energy levels and fight that mid-day fatigue we all face. If you're looking for a natural way to fight the stress-to-belly-fat cycle, you've got to try Relacore. Just add Relacore to your sensible diet and exercise program!

Start takin a B-50 vitamin for that stress. It should help over time. You'll notice your piss getting more yellow, that's a good sign. And you may notice more energy. It's good stuff.

    Get more protien too.

And maybe switch from coffee to tea, that can cut a little on the stress load. There are chemicals in tea that can reduce stress (green tea that is, black to a lesser extent).

And just to add in some ultra-cliches, get more sleep and drink more water. That could never hurt.

Oh and sorry to shit on your parade but supplements really can't fully compensate for not eating healthy, but thats your choice what you put in your stomach so I'm not gonna direct you there. But like everyone knows, fruits and vegetables will do you good if you want to be 'healthy'.

fish oil in capsuls.. it seems to be making me feel better. try to eat sushi grade salmon if you can stomach the raw fish.. has all your amino acids that you need, plus it tastes good with soy sauce. Also peanuts are very good for you, has very healthy oils in it, and whole grain oatmeal in the mornings it helps clear your intestines, therefor allowing you to feel more healthy throughout the day and you can eat more as well, but when i mean eat more, i mean eat healthy! yay!

I didnt bother to read the thread so if im off topic, oh fuck.

JUST TAKE A CENTRIUM MULTI-VITAMIN PILL EACH MORNING.

THAT'S ALL YA NEED (VITAMIN WISE). AND OF COURSE EAT HEALTHY FOODS. GRAINS (OATMEAL, BROWN RICE, WHEAT BREAD, ETC), FRUITS, VEGGIES, MEATS (GRILLED CHICKEN/FISH/ AND LEAN REDMEAT ON OCCASION).

AND FUCK THAT WHOLE LOW CARB NONSENSE. IF YOU'RE EXERCISING/WORKING OUT OR DOING ANY ACTIVITY DURING THE DAY, YOUR BODY NEEDS CARBS. YOU WILL BURN THEM UP. CARBS ARE ONLY BAD IF YOU TAKE IN A LOT AND THEN JUST SIT AROUND ALL DAY DOING NOTHING... THEN THAT'LL JUST MAKE YOU PUT ON WEIGHT (IN FAT).

Stick with a good multi-vitamin like GNC megamen, I take Animal Pak, but that's really more intended for bodybuilding. A lot of cheap muti vitamins you synthetic sources to reduce cost.. so beware. Other than that just like a bear.
