Jerry Bruckheimer movies kick ass. It's just fucked up cause I can still remember those fuckin' Somali's dragging our dead service men through the streets. Sorry. Please no politics. Why not ask my dads good friend who the movies made after...yes he was there, and took part in all that, the movie producer flew him to see the making of it, also he got to see every pre viewing , and did q&A sessions with the stars and viewers...im for sure watching it though...even though he has his own copy of the film at his house...i love it when your rents have the hoooook up. By the way it was directed by that guy from Gladiator. Thats the knock on his movies too, plot and characters are generally weak. I can't remember his name right now. If you want a heroic true story about foreign involvement in africa, try reading up on Romeo Dallaire. His story doesn't have any happy endings, but this guy is far more worthy of attention. He is fucked as a result of what he saw...I remember last year the cops picked him up in ottawa for being drunk in public. He's attempted suicide a few times...he's ruined and no one cares outside of this country it seems.
