How about a new BMX thread, I didn't realise that so many people on this site are enthusiasts of this "sport". So, post your riding spots, the spots you've been to and recommend, a picture of your bike, a picture of your trophies, a new trick you learned, some parts you have to sell.... etc.... let's talk about BMXrox!!

Spots in Austin:

There's 2 skateparks, Intellect Roller's Realm and some other, IRR is good and it's owned by good people.

9th street and Lamar trails, I haven't been there in a while, but it's a city owned park that they've allowed the locals to build trails on. Super cool.

University grounds in downtown, lots of good street there, watch out for cops because they will cite you with the quickness.

5-hips ditch in south Austin, me and a couple friends discovered this place years ago, and today it's a known spot in Austin to ride.

Spots in Dallas:

I've ridden all 4 skateparks here, I'd recommend the EXPN park in Grapevine Mills Mall, and GPX. Eisenturd's is alright, and so is Freestyle.

Downtown Dallas doesn't have a whole lot to ride, I'd say that FtW has more street stuff that's worth visiting.

Great Southwest Trails are no more.

Dunlop in Arlington is being rebuilt so it may be worth checking out.

Grapevine trails were being torn down last time I remember.

Spots in Denton:

everywhere, this place is loaded with street stuff to ride, and the atmosphere/people in Denton bear a strong resemblence to Austin's. Denton is a very good place to check out if you're ever in the area, mad spots to ride, cool people, and not to mention it's the grounds for the ALL WOMEN COLLEGE campus!!! POW!!

Out of practice tire tap on someone else's bike..... yep still works.

I used to have a Skyway back in '86 and then got a "Harbor Lite"(they only made bikes for a few years....I loved racing, but then I picked up a skateboard....and that took up most my time for the next 13 years-I rode for shop and got flow from New Deal...then I fucked my knee up and that was that...oh well.
