    yoshimi battles the pink robots - flaming lips

    runner up: yankee hotel foxtrot - wilco

    honorable mention: brad mehldau - largo

    best live show:

    sigur ros- beacon theater

    runner up: (tie)

    the white stripes - bowery ballroom

    best song:

    These are the only 2002 releases I bought, haha.

    Haven't been to a live show in ages. Last one was Aesop Rock and it ruled.

    if you like talking heads you should check out tom tom club which has some of its members from th.

    "wordy rappinghood" was one of the first white people attempts at rap and "genius of love" has a dope beat that even mariah carey sampled...
