If you use AIM but hate the ads, and want to use tabbed IM's check out DEAD AIM

Only problem is that ads now have audio features in instant messenger. With DeadAIM surpressing the ads you cant press the stop button.

I still use the AIM client because the people who make trillian are complete morons when it comes to UI design.

If iChat AV had tabs, and possibly a transparency option on chat windows, it'd be perfect.

yes... the gui of trillian pro is fucked.
You practically have to move all the files into correctly labeled folder by yourself.

I have trillian pro but am only on it for like 5 minutes a day.

i was using fire for osX but then i realized i'm only really on aim...and don't need to be on yahoo / msn / irc all at the same time...

so i pretty much use aim because i still find ichat to be buggy when it comes to file transfers and shit...

I was referring to the non-compliance with windows common control guidelines. There should at least be an option to turn their custom hacked-up interface off.
