george romero's living dead trilogy(purely badass)

the sentinel(pretty gnarly)

the exorcist(the pea soup)

nightmare on elm st.(freaked the shit out of me when i was a little tike)

nosferatu (for its OG status)

the lost boys (where else can you see corey feldman and corey haim kill vampires?)

the return of the living dead films (thouroghly 1980's in every way)

yes in recent times i have become a self proclaimed movie nerd, yes i watch so many that it is not funny my school marks and social life(as if i ever had one) have suffered for my newfound passion.

^ this movie rocks! It is one of the original "not quite dead" flicks.

Everything from the 6th sense to Vanilla Sky owes a bit to this movie.

i grew up on horror films but unfortunatly can barely remember them cause i was so young or fogot the names.

i was wondering if anyone saw a movie that on the cover had a gut with a moon shaped head. and in the movie they were in a mental asylum and this guys breaks a bathroom mirror or something and slices across his forehead and starts going crazy and peeling his face off? they got these mutants that live like underground or some shit and they got crazy ones called bezerkers that they have to keep locked up cause they so crazy they fuck up their own mutant friends? that movie was disgusting. atleast it was when i was 9 i wanna see it again

well okay so the lost boys is a comedy, but i remember it scaring the piss out of me as a child. i think it rated on my list because of my obsession with Corey Feldman.

George Romero's night of the living dead film was released on a really small budget, in the early seventies i think.(it was filmed in black and white because he could not afford color film, how kickass!) it was released again in the mid eighties with all the frames colored in, then it was remade in the early nineties. Dawn of the dead and Day of the dead were the sequels.

iCEBERG you are thinking of "Nightbreed" i was really scared of it when i was little i saw it again and found it funny

Braindead was kickass! New Zealand horror!
