As the wan moon - the 6th of the hidden
    Takes his position
My body trembles in blasphemic delight
    Obsessed I awaited this day
    As the planets arrive
And unveil the powers of ages for me
...Surrounded by a beam of light
The seven stars burn in line
I chant the first words of wisdom
And the earth is covered in deepest blackness
    Mankind falls into chaos
    Everything returns to it's origins
I use a wand of silver
To draw the lines in the air
I use a wand of gold
To reign in blood and fire
For this is the time to channel my forces
To purify the surface of my planet
All celestial bodies form an almighty sign
    Eerie constellation is a beginning
    Eerie constellation is an end

    Watched it again, stillmatic.

That balloon scene destroys my face with punches of majesty. Infuckingcredible... and I need to get my hands on the song that plays throughout it.

Another thing I noticed is that, at least in the copy I saw, everything he recited was subtitled, but yes, it was all poetry. I'm also floored by Javier Bardem's performance, he's got the Cuban accent down perfectly, even though he's from Spain... you'll be further amazed if you saw his role in "Jamón, Jamón", he plays the exact opposite character, a heterosexual super macho guy, and is just as good (the movie is not very good though, although it's fucking hilarious).

Really wish the movie was in Spanish though. The forced accents took away from the performances of many, and made it all look a little less authentic.

Oh and Browner, you'd do yourself good to rent "Sex and Lucía" soon. I am almost 100% sure that you'll love it. Beer,

    El Mamerro

    *Edit: Trailer.

i'm not gay, but that dude(bardem) is ultra sensual(at least the character personification..whatever that means..), whatever that means..that movie
is the closest thing to perfect movie experience to me..
anyhow, that soundtrack is fucking amazing too,
i can and will hook you up with the balloon song in a couple days if you're on ron..
i so want that one bass guitar/instrument/cello song from that instrumental club/restaurant scene but i'm not sure if it's not on the soundtrack or if i'm just
not finding the dl for it..
