Two Swiss researchers have created what could be the largest portable ink jet printer in the world.

Called Hektor, the printer built by Jürg Lehni and Uli Franke converts small computer created images into huge facsimilies that it recreates with cans of spray paint.

it says under construction but its said that for a year plus now. just check the mpeg.. and if you are really interested there is a pdf describing the process and mathmatics behind the project.

i cant imagine the math they had to figure out how to make it process the way it does.

the way they have it set up is brilliant and so simple .. it takes them only a few minutes to setup.
