I was just wondering if there were any other bassists on the forum

if so, and I know this is an odd question - are you big into slap bass? I personally can't stand it, I can do it just fine but it sounds crap imho

my baby looks like this:

yes, i play bass. i have one beat up Peavy that with the most bright pick ups (they're not active pick ups--i hate the way active pick ups sound). the bass is perfect because the action and tension are perfect, it sounds wonderful, but the body is so beat up, i feel totally fine playing those packed basement shows that get rowdy. best combination.

i also have double bass (stand up) which is equally beat up. i used this when playing at the park. it has the deep sound, but i got it all cheap and beat the fuck up, i don't need to worry about keeping it all nice.

i play guitar too. got a problem fucker?

i play bass..I have a fender american jazz bass..white with a few nicks and scratches from rockin a little too hard. I need to buy new strings for it and re-wire it though.

I am using a peavy 500 watt bass head..its old school as fuck and a peavy speaker cabinet with a pair of black widow 15" speakers in it.

ps..I am a guitarist too...got beef?
