seeking Posted July 9, 2001 Share Posted July 9, 2001 let me put an end to this bullshit.... in the history of 12oz, we've banned about 12 people total. 8 of those were assholes who came on JUST to start trouble. the other four were people who contributed, but just couldnt play fair. for all of those BRAGGING about how we banned you, kormega is the only one who was actually banned. the rest of you are talking out your ass. our server really does fuck up, beardo and ouija have each been 'banned' several times because of it. furthermore, we dont take banning people lightly. we all discuss it (moderators and a select team of board members) and then we vote. rusto-man, do you really think we give a shit about you? dont flatter yourself. same with you willy... you're posts are sometimes excessive and annoying, but thats on a case by case basis, not all the time. we dont want to ban people who enjoy being here, just people that make it impossible for others to enjoy themselfs. were not some team of nazi's... we just want to make sure this place doesnt turn into tag page or whatever that other shit site is. the '12ozprophet' name has always been respected in the graff world... when the new issue came out, you knew it would be dope before you even saw it. all we're trying to do is uphold a portion of that here on the board. thats why we wont allow porn or topics about your balls smelling like taco meat... that stuff, while perhaps amusing to your feeble 14 year old intillect, is 'stupid.' and perhaps stupid is only our opinion, but unfortunitly, ours is the one that matters most. SO, having said all that. quit bragging about being banned cause you werent. if our server fucked up we apologise for the hassle, and apologise in advance cause it will happen again. those who are effected seem to be chronicly infected (unfortunitly.) so before you go sending me emails every 6 minutes and goign over to your friends house to post about it, take the day off. go sketch or read a book. it'll do you good...
