For three weeks I will drink plenty of plum brandy, explore ancient ruins, and duck sniper fire. I know basically where I want to go, but I want to know more. Oh internet what can you tell me? And I'm not some bum who wandered in here, it just took me a long long time to log back on. under a new alias I might add. Here's my abbreviated itinerary: Athens:Thessaloniki:Skopje:Pristina:Belgrade:Sarajevo:Split:Venice:Munich Let me know what's good/bad. Schnitzel Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 sarajevo is cool!! good food (cevapcici's i think they're called) and a cool old market town part that is beautiful. if you stay in the hostel that Sonny runs it's cool! he's a fuckhead but this siege tours are very cool! belgrade is fucking awesome and there's loads of graff but the food is shitty if you buys it from supermarkets. Go to Tito's grave it's interesting. can't tell yuo about pristina but I heard podgorica is also very cool. split was nice but too full of italians when i went there so i left afetr 1/2 a day. Dubrovnik is the most beautifcl city on the adriatic coast but really touristy in summer! Maybe on the way to venice try out Ljubljana in slovenia it's also cool. I ended up going to a bar that looked like soemone's living room where they were playing local folk music and chugging plum brandy! but i got too drunk and got lost coming home. becarefull down by the river in sarajevo at night though my mate got robbed there very politley but still robbed!
