How long can you leave meat out before it goes bad. My lady brought over some steak (thin) the other night & it was left out for about 6 or 7 hours. I don't think it was cooked. I would think it's not safe to eat but has anyone eaten steak that's been left out?

you can give it a shot but just make sure to cook it really well so as to kill any bacteria
