    ive downloaded this file off soulseek but it wont let me play it (the default is windows media, but its doesnt work)..its an avi. file...this guy sent me a little avi. player thing a while back but i got a new computer so i lost it and forgot the name.....if anyone could hook me up with it (or another one)..it would be appreciated

    Search for a free avi player.

    If trouble persists, I'm pretty sure
    there's a nice divx or avi forum
    with assloads of trouble shooting info.

    all you have to do is get a codec.

    probably divx or x-vid.

    well ive downloaded about 4 different things off download.com and none have worked so far....and i did download a divex thing but that didnt work either....the thing the guy sent me, it was such a basic little thing and the icon was a little orange cone (dont know if that helps at all)

    Get the Nimo Codec Pack... that seems to fix all my problems.
