So I'll be going to both cities on business in the very near future... Can't shop (i'll be working 10-12 hr. days). Is there any bars or nightlife I can't miss. I don't care if it's divey or posh (give me both!). Thanks in advance for all sugestions.

If you're looking to party.... Elm St. in Dallas... there's also the "West End" and that legal wall that was mentioned isn't legal.... and a bunch of idiots go there anyway.... I'd just forget about that whole thing all together.... Bring your window chalk marker with desired "ink", everyone else does.... There's a decent hip hop store in Cedar Hill, on Jefferson Ave, called Urban Nation... might be worth a look.

I second that. fellini's got the best pizza in the world. The tabernacle or cotton club may have someone good playin when you're in town. Check it out. Another good pizza spot is Savage in little 5 points. The dude who owns it is tight.
