Sorry, Krook. Those look like they were air-brushed by a guy in his 50s who still reads AD&D books and steals his 11-year old daughter's ideas for artwork. They bring incredible homosexuality, not funk.

The one with the airplanes and the dolphins is pretty cool though. DUnno what that big S would stand for though.

here is something closer to bringing the funk but yet not quite funktified.

Chris Achilleos was born in cyprus in 1947. As a child he had little contact with the western world but the few instances he did shine through in his art work as an adult. He had little to do with art as a child but there was one hint of his future calling in the shadow puppet theater he and his friends created, charging their audiences a penny or a potato to see the show.

From there he went on to design 12 book covers for various star trek books and created the character Taarna for the cult movie classic heavy metal. His art work deals heavily in fantasy and science fiction with a somewhat healthy dose of Amazons and pin-up girls.

    With that said, please enjoy.

okay thats enough for now. If this man appears to be your cup of tea check out more of his work out at chris achilleos

It's like the art in a bad dentist's office where all the assistants
are named 'Julian' or 'Blaine' and they intentionally brush up against you.

^^Tacky is, I think, the best description for these pieces. Whole lot of technical skill, though.

This post makes me wonder as to the age and gender of unconscience. How's about we just don't start threads, eh?

reminds me of some really bad murals I've seen airbrushed on the hoods and tailgates of autos.
