    mac nerds....
    i need help....
    so, here's the deal:
i'm gonna get an ethernet cord,
and transfer my files over to this
now...i'm gonna try to get my
    programs over too, if possible...
but it seems that its not likely
becuz i'd have to transfer my
    program preferences too(?)..
there's an issue with having 2 different
OS's trying to read the prefs....
does anyone know if there's another
    way or what?
i'm still gonna try it, but....fuck....

umm... If you copy the preferences folder locally (on to the ibook)
you should be fine. Then you wont have 2 systems looking at the
same folder but 2 seperate systems.

or make 2 partitions on the ibook, and just take the system folder
from your tower and use that for one partition. Then you'll
still have an independent system on the other partition running
    the original ibook set up.

    ??? dunno really.

why not just do clean installs onto the ibbok?
    That's the easiest way.
