wasn't thinking.... i do have a bunch of instruments, and a solid drum machine. its what i usually use. i've done stuff on PC (acid, sound forge, fruity loops, audio grabber), but i need to learn more mac stuff.

i'm listening.

i need an 'all in one' program.. sampling, sequencing, tracking etc. it doesnt have to be all complex... infact, id almost prefer it wasnt. too many options and i start to get confused. i came up producing shit on an mpc and i loved the simplicity of it. its capable of a ton of things, but they are straight forward.

i fucked with digital performer pro for a second, and i really liked that, but its not osx compatible yet and im not even running 9 on my shit, so i cant go into classic.

thanks browner, but im sure its not gonna work... although i might be loading up 9 soon, in which case i would like to check it out.

im assuming spark would work well to 'remaster' old tracks? for instance, my friends band recorded a demo, and its incredible, but the mix job was done by hellen kellar... i was hoping to throw it in and spruce it up... sound doable?

*believe*

reason.

its 'all in one'

its like a digital studio.

It comes on four discs.

Well, thats how I got it.

Sickest shit, it has its own

lil forum just like this one,

with people making/comparing

beats. Major recording artists

are using this shit. Expensive,

but you know how weeeee do!

i started out with an mpc too...

i've never mastered with it, but apparently thats

a big feature of it.....should be completely doable..

its definitely a good program to have in your

back pocket..anytime, just let me know.

as far as an all in one.....yeesh..i'm not so up

on that stuff too much nowadays, i could recommend

good 'completely fuck shit up' software, but..

haha, no one got their clutch cd's... the worst part is, i burned them all too... i just put too much into it. i couldnt just burn the cd, it had to be this big fucking multi-media extravaganza.

umm, this spark thing doesnt make much sense... thank god they didnt include a 'help' section or tutorials...

?

it's pretty straightforward i thought....is it a demo?

eh..i don't know dood, i only use it to geek out with

maximum fx..load up the file and play...............

it's no good for editing..and its certainly not an all

in one deal......my version has a couple hundred

fx plug-ins..

^Word on spark... last night I produced an ungodly racket that made me roomate stop having sex just to ask me what the fuck was I doing and if I could please turn it down.

Seeking, ProTools, Cubase are your top options for all-in-ones.

im terrible with sending packages, but returning packages, im good at. im sure between zelot(mune) and myself, we could put together something nice...

browner, yeah, i got the free 'demo' version that has one plug in, that doesnt seem to do anything. waste of HD space. you cant add tracks or anything. atleast i havent been able to figure out how.
