After working crap jobs for a few years- im headed to collage for a 5 year computer animation / game design coarse. Anybody else gone through any of this before? Its a bit intimidating- but I cant wait to start it.

lol and thanks for the kind words.
Dont worry- I don't want to write the plots or scripts for games- i just wanna make the characters- maps- weapons- interfaces (game interfaces suck!!) ect..
so many games these days dont really push any envelopes with the art... I really hope I can get a chance to help change that.

So what are you really interested in is
3d modeling, texturing, & animating, right?

I'm thinking of picking up a few of these
classes (Bryce, Poser, etc...) put I'm not
sure about it. But how the hell is it a FIVE
    year program?
