anybody use Macromedia director

    Fairly sure the answer is no, but i never hurts to ask. I know war pigs if being fucking useless for not learning yesterday in anticipation of my impending questions.



    so the biggest question i have is this: what is Linogs equivalent to ActionScripts attachMovie(); method?

    Yes I do use director quite a bit, but I can't answer your question. Useless.

    can you tell me how to dynamically place a cast member on the stage during run time? if not just draw me a picture.

    the who with the what now?

    * i tried learning director for about 20 minutes and got pissed off... with programs that complicated, i need someone to be there teaching it to me........ sorry for wasting thread space with my useless commentary

    In terms of flexibility director is much easier than flash. I'm still new to the scripting thing but the keyframing functions are so much looser with director. I'm not entirely sure why Macromedia still uses such a rigid frame setup for flash. P.
