AMBIGRAMS

ok so i was reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown the other day...in it....he used ambigrams..a form of calligraphy in which the text is the same right side up as it is upside downnn....examples being:

love.jpg

 

this would be hot if this style was incorporated in graffiti..

alot of peoples style is already moving towards that in certain crews.

the swashes and the really script fonts.

not to mention symetrical pieces have definitly been done.

 

check out the other piecing threads. you'll see what i mean.

 

an exact mirror image would be hard but i guess anything is possible?

yeah i read that book too... they start to get some really fucking gnarly ones that say like 4 differnt things at the same time and can be read **backwards also.

i tried doing the same thing and got pretty close to doing it in one of my sketches,... its pretty fucking hard to pull off though... but yeah that book kicks some serious ass.
