ElectricitySucks Posted August 9, 2002 Share Posted August 9, 2002 fruitbooters, eh? the ones that think they own skateparks. yes, ill agree, some of their stuff cool. but i think hitting a rail or ledge and even a gap or going off something is alot more technical and harder with a bike or skateboard. i had a friend who biked and was pretty good. he stopped biking, started doing drugs and couldnt bike anymore because it was too much for him. he started fruitbooting. his first week of rollerblading he could do a million tricks. whatever. laterr on he sold his skates for more drugs. now he does drugs. what the fuck was the name of this thread again? serpent of the light Posted August 9, 2002 Share Posted August 9, 2002 its like freestyle walking in soap shoes, i just can't bring myself to hold it anywhere as high as skateboarding or biking. i admit it takes balls to do a lot of those drops, cuz they're mad big, but i would say there is an entirely different aspect to things when you're strapped to your ride. it'd be like comparing military paratroopers (those guys are hardasses, don't get me wrong) w/ hardcore mtb downhillers. it's not a fair comparison.
