ok so smash these nerds for bringing some humor to the philosophy of the matrix, they arent the first to use movies as allegory to get their political point across. i personally think it was a decent nonviolent direct action tactic at exposing a bunch of people who probably didnt think past the bombing of the wtc to think about what may go on behind closed doors, if one thousand postcards were passed out and 1 person looked into it, that isnt a bad ratio considering the amount of idiots in the world.... not saying these idiots have a valid point they are probably socialists... but it was a well thought out tactic probably done by bourgeosie trust funders with too much time and too much computer in their hands nonetheless, fire bombing the wto would be more productive... oh well. we all cannot be sacco and vanzetti can we?

eh yo, yeah for reals.

I think it was a good move on thier part and maybe they are smashing a fanatical piece of time warners mind washing garbage. If you dont inform yourself about what enters your cranium via pictures and sound then thats your bad but if someone extends knowledge and you act to snooty cause you think thier conspiracy nut cases, then your close minded and deserve to live in a police state, and have all your freedoms ripped from you at gun point. what do you think hitler did, ask nicely to take all those coutnries??? the matrix might not be as bad as they say it is but if you look closely you can take that as an analogy to see how massive computer systems will run the market, your life, and the government. Read about the mark of the beast and then watch the matrix, that thing in thier heads, is the mark of the beast. absolute power corrupts absolutley, we are not in the land of the free and home of the brave, and if you frequent this board and really understand the graff subculture theny ou wouldnt be talkin shit about those fuckers, SO FUCK YOU.

personally i have met alex jones who started infowars and hes good good guy.

So I don't understand about being fed mindnumbing garbage because I

don't condone those people getting into costume and putting on

sunglasses to appeal to a crowd who were there to watch the movie?

They're advertising that "whatreallyhappened.com" site, which I've seen

and believe is a crock of bullshit. But because of that, and because I

doubt the credibility of those other sites, I'm automatically stupid?

Fuck you too, tough guy.

A. It would have been much cooler if they had given out actual red pills with the card. Especially if they were those fake blood pills, because you know some idiots would take the pills for kicks and start spititng blood in a crowded theater.

B. I like how the put Privatization as one of the main things that are a part of the "matrix." Because owning businesses and means of production is a terrible terrible part of an international underground network of capitalist swine-dogs who are trying to control the world. (Sarcasm)

C. You gotta love conspiracy nuts, they're so much fun to play with. The ones in my area recognize me now and won't talk to me because I messed with them too much. I once pointed to a crow in the sky and asked if it was a "black helicopter" etc.

Whatever...

Privatization is not always good. In large countries it may be an effectual form of production.

However in small countries privatization merely creates an upper class that controls everything, allowing little to no social mobility. It also allows foreign investors/government to take over the resources and basically own a small country through takeovers/buyouts.

For example Argentinians are protesting against American's purchasing their natural gas.

Capitalism doesn't work for everyone..everywhere...

I don't think it's very important to many people, including myself, but the matrix's basic storyline has a lot of sociological commentary type shit embedded into it. If looked at under the right microscope, it's saying similar shit to what the activist card-solicitors are trying to say about society: consolidation of power, public ignorance, humans as expendable components of a machine ... shit like that.

Final verdict: who cares!

I really don't like any site of that type.. rather, I kinda lean toward not

believing them. After reading that "Find the Boeing" thing someone

posted, I steered away from sites of that nature.

I got a bad taste in my mouth when a few of my friends got into that site

and kept sending me links about "what really happened at 9/11" and

other things from there. While some of those articles had some facts in

them that seemed pretty possible, the articles contradicted each other,

as only one of all of those theories is the right one (or none at all.)

If you think about it, it doesn't take long to realize that by logic at least

90% of the shit on there is completely wrong. Since then they may have

come up with better findings or articles, but at this point I could care

less because they already kinda looked stupid to me once.

Yeah, those sites are just as bad as mainstream news in their lack of objectivity.

FOX, CBS, etc. -- they may be sensationalized infotainment filtered through a corporate strainer, but those fanatical conspiracy alternative news outlets can be just as bad in their never-ending missions to expose the "evil underlying agendas" in all aspects of governmental or business-related affairs.

NPR is what's up for the straight shit.
