Who was better, beats and lyrics wise. I like both, but I think ultimately I would have to choose Quest. phife dog and Q-tip killed it in the day.

I personally prefer ATCQ, but that's just because the whole vibe suits me more

Which is better? That's like getting me to choose between good sex and good head. They're both fucking amazing, but in different ways

All about Tribe.....De La Soul was a little too earthy for my tastes.

You mean Low End Theory vs Stakes Is High.

Idunno - I'll go with De La. Simply because a lot of granola head hippies jumped on the ATCQ bandwagon after junior high. And because Stakes Is High is amazing.

But Q-Tip gets points for having some devastatingly hot women in his Vivrant Thing video.

And did anyone ever get to give a listen to that Phife album that was supposed to drop a few years back?

that's one of the toughest calls you can make. if i could only listen to one of them for the rest of my life... i think i might choose de la... but i sure as hell would miss a lot of tribe's shit.

And De La is Dead and Buhloone Mind State topped Stakes is High....

De La is Dead is my personal de la fave.

But damn its a tough call to pick one of the 2.

    Lets go album by album.

    1. People's Instinctive Travel's vs. 3ft High and Rising.

    People's Instinctive Travel's

    2. Low End Theory vs. De La Soul is Dead

Both at the top of their game... I'm going to have to go with L.E.T. in a close call.

    3. Midnight Mirauders vs. Buhloone Mindstate

    Buhloone Mindstate.

4.Beats, Rhymes and Life vs. Stakes is High

    Stakes is High

After these albums nothing quite ever measured up.... so I won't count the others.. I can't even cast a vote between Love Theory and AOI.

So its Tribe - 2, De La 2... and the tiebreaker goes to...... what I own more of.... and that is DE LA SOUL by an album or two, not counting doubles.
