    that each of these aspects is important to the whole..
    but..are there particular aspects of a magazine that
    draw you in, get you hyped and generally make you
    want to either rack it or buy it...and please try to explain
    the finer points of magazine illness. merci.

    content. a housewives' magazine may look all pretty, but why would i care to read about 100 different doily patterns?

    i hate most magazines. fashion magazines, trendy hipster magazines, hip hop magazines. its all such fucking consumer culture garbage.

    i like big brother skateboarding magazine, dave carnie cracks me up.

    i like saltwater fisherman too.

    Right now my favorite magazine is Juice skateboarding due to the awesome photos, interesting articles, and the fact that it's not completely vapid like transworld is/was (i cancelled my subscription years ago).

    Its about whats on the inside of the mag.
    although if the cover looks good it could be interesting.
