My work hasn't changed much, but here's a couple newer sketches and a wall inspired by the drawings (there's no letters so dont even look). I've got many more...this is just a sample. If you feel it, that's great! As long as someone besides me feels it, then I'm happy. If not, criticism is welcome, but don't be a blatant dick. My inspiration is "the landscape" of our planet as seen from the air. As a kid of 5 I remember being in a plane and looking down on the earth. I'll never forget how my perceptions changed. I've flown many times since then, and always jockey to get that window seat. I've also studied many aerial photographs, and enjoy climbing a mountain or cliff whenever possible to get that special "view". These are just stylized interpretations, or inspirations from those actual images. No one actual place is being documented, just years of visuals accumulated and reinterpreted in quick drawings or paintings. No rocket science. I'm also working as an architect so I'm getting to shape the landscape in my own little way. Good or bad, I'm altering the reality for the next 5 year old in the window seat of a DC-10. If some guy decides a UFO is a good symbol, then paints it around NYC then that's graffiti. It doesn't have to please everyone, or even anyone. (there's no letters so dont even look) awesome, Im loving where the inspiration for these come from, I remember that one sketch you had that looked like a typical suburban development (correct me if im wrong) with shapes that reminded me of the cookie cutter houses, and roads etc...that would be ill on a wall. keep it up homie.
