    Yeah all the televised comps are getting lamer by the year. The Tampa Skateboarding competitions were still pretty fresh when i lasted kept track of such things. Some of the baddest skaters from across the globe, regardless of their corporate affliates or lack there of, got to showcase their shit to everyone. Twas good stuff. Nowadays i just skate for fun when i got the time...I cant remember the last new video i saw. Snowboarding i dont know much about.

    It's all about how many sponsors you have and how many people buy your "Signature Model" shit.

    Snowboarding got shitty when X-Games came out.
    I made the mistake of going to one a few years ago in Vermont.
