WEAK NIGGUH
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I USED TO CUT THE TONGUES OUT OF MY OLD SHOES AND PUT THEM INSIDE MY NEW SHOES TO MAKE THE TONGUES EVEN PUFFIER. I REMEMBER KIDS WOULD TRY TO OUTDO EACH OTHER AND HAVE REDICULOUSLY PUFFED TONGUES. SOCKS WOULD WORK ALSO. DID ANYONE ELSE EVER DO THIS? Herbivore
i'm not understanding the 'coolness' of having a puffy tongue... maybe that's cuz i'm white and from the suburbs, and the only 'cool' pair of sneakers i ever had were the Reebok pumps. WatcherSB
Yes I remember that shit. Around here only kids trying too hard to fit in sport that. I saw mostly socksput behind the tongue to make look puffy.

High Priest
The thing is, i wear slippers. Infact as im typing this im wearing a pair of my van's which.. dont even have a tongue. I seem to remember seeing rollerblader's doing this a long time ago, which i thought was funny at the time. In short, to answer your question i dont ever remember doing that. sarcasm
i used to do this all the time back in the day when i used to skate, skaters always put two tongues into their shoes, to get the poofy effect. shit was ill, and i wish it was back. but now adays, the shoes already come pretty big. dc's + extra tongue = hotness

casekonly
this trend sounds kinda funny to me. what i do recall is wayyyyy back in the day we used to use the top laces to lace behind the tongue...like the top two holes would go behind instead of on top of the tongue, respectively. Scrabble
Umm...people are still doing that. My family in particular has been stuck in the past. Still wearing 2 long ass tube socks on each foot, and scrunching 'em down...if its Sunday, add some flip flops, and sweat pants...and you'd look like most of my cousins.
