bumpin' some 'eyes without a face' right now....my girl got

me to dl a bunch of 80's stuff for her and its grown on me.

80's pop destoys 90's pop. some of it is complete shit of course,

but alot of it just whips me into nostalgia.

this probly sounds somewhat narcissistic(sp), but i really wish my

parents had video or at least audio of my youth. just little

snapshots of the little person i used to be, back in the nice

hot summers rockin' my bmx in my beat it jacket listening

to all the hits, playin' at the beach.....no worries.

oh man do I feel the same way. I was flicking past Muchmoremusic (think canadian version of VH1) and they were running the 80s show, playing the video for "Romantic Traffic" by the Spoons. Its a typical 80s pop song, and the video is full of people rocking ridiculous hair, but it was all shot in the toronto subway. It made me nostalgic cause thats how I remember it....it was shot in 1984 and it just made me whish I was back then and there again. Ruined my train of thought for the whole fucking day...

I was just thinking about 80's pop recently.

True story, this dude Rick Springfield wrote a song about getting confused with Bruce Springsteen which got airplay. It goes, in part,

"She called me Bruce...

I can hear her callin' 'Bruce'

My name is Ricky gonna kick you till you die..."
