The RSS feed is an excellent addition to the site.

As its still in Beta, here are a few suggestions.

Having the option to subscribe to individual feeds
from individual sections on the forum,

    Examples

1.) Subrcribe to all new posts in the THE TRENCHES - GRAFF DISCUSSION
and all new posts in the THE BENCHES - GRAFF IMAGES (only)

2.) Subrcribe to all new posts in the THE TRENCHES - GRAFF DISCUSSION
    (only)

3.) Subrcribe to all new posts in the THE TRENCHES - GRAFF DISCUSSION -
    THIRD RAIL thread. (only)

4.) Subrcribe to all new posts in the THE TRENCHES - GRAFF DISCUSSION -
THIRD RAIL thread - JA xtc - thread (only)

5.) Or to be able to configure your subsciptions, example being:
Subcribe to all new posts in THE TRENCHES - GRAFF DISCUSSION threads
& only certain threads from THE BENCHES - GRAFF IMAGES thread.

6.)To be able to subcribe to a thread that you have only just
discovered. For example, say there is a thread thats
18 pages long in CHANNEL ZERO, when you gonna
find the time to shift through it? Probably never.
But if you can subcribe to it & then read it in your RSS
browser at work (I use a scrolling type 'Ticker' type
reader for the Mac called TickerShock), you
could do so over a period of time, because my reader
gives me the option to have a feed repeat until click on
or removed from the channel. So, your in work, you zone
the fuck out for a few seconds, the scrolling type catches
your eye at the top of the screen, you read a bit, then
you snapthefuckoutofit, hey fuck'n presto, it beats
the fuck outa brows'n through the forum for new posts
on certain threads, on Safari while your try'n to save an
Illustrator .eps file at the same time.

I'm rambling now, so back to why i reckon
these suggestions might make life better
    for all 12oz addicts....

If you only ever browse CHANNEL ZERO,
you may not want to read new posts in DUTY FREE.
For the same reason also, unless a debate ensues
in a BRICK SLAYERS thread, you aint going to
see any pics within the RSS feed.
But i'm think'n maybe someone following
the 'Don't Call it Frisco' thread uses it as a sign
that a new post has been posted. But then when
they click on the feed, and are brought to the thread,
the see that its only a text reply that has been posted,
so having a symbol within the feed to inform you a
pic has been posted as part of the post, might
    be worth think'n about.

At the moment, the feed appears to have the code for the various
styles attributed to the text in the posts, in the feed,
    {snapback)//(MARK) SIZE 14...etc,
or it may be the RSS reader I use, like I said before
its for the Mac, sure theres loads out there for the Windows
platform, but 'tickerShock', simple as it may be in comparision
to other readers still has some nice features, especaily
when it comes to customiz'n the apperance,
so you can have it sit top or bottom of the screen,
with the opacity on the backround of the reader turned
right down so the text on the feed scrolls by indiscretly,

    To the 12oz Crew:
I'm not to educated on the backend of RSS feed software,
so forgive if these suggestions seem ignorant and/or
    to demanding.

Oh yeah, this last suggestion is for all the haters.

Been able to subcribe to a feed that displays
any new post in any fourm, by that dude who
dissed you & your homies in the'Dont Call it Frisco' thread.
Yeah!, now you can pounce while hes still on line,
challenge him with your very best foul language &
the lastest "what I did to your moma" line.
Dam, hes lucky he lives 3,000 miles away.

Good suggestions, especailly different feeds for different sections. Some of the stuff you are suggesting isn't possible with RSS (like a symbol to denote if the post is text of pcitures) as RSS is quite a stripped don simple protocol.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I'm using the 12oz RSS feed and it's really not working out. It doesn't seem to be updating properly at all, I have it set up to check the feed every 30 minutes and it's turning up maybe 1 or 2 posts per check, all of which are often hours old

    Solutions?
