Posted July 12, 2003 Share Posted July 12, 2003 hello there Mr. D Habit neopulse goldie dj rap heretik aquasky dj dara/dara mc ? kingpin oldschool rob g shy fx the mad proffesor with sometimes believe it or not. lee scrtch perry grooveriders min and fs sdf1 bass tribe mc det unknown soldier T power jungle sky records sometims dj tron roni size/ reprazent the cuban i cant think of anymore dj's/groups/labels off hand . as far as producing i'm a diehard analog head so i cant help you much there. i mostly use old casio keyboards,bass,guitar, a slew of modified fx pedals coupled with a digital 16 track recorder,a radio shack mixer,and a fisher price 45 record player i modified project my voice through the needle. but if i really ever need to go digital i only really use fruity loops and record straight onto the 16 track. though i do wish there was more metal tinged jungle around in the vain of atari teenaged riot. check www.12inch.com for some good canadian north america stuff. ps. do you know of any new cheap drum machines that came out? Nah, not off hand, but I did a search and found this. It's made by Korg which means it's probably good. The recommendations are greatly appreciated as I'm not ¤real¤ familiar with DNB. Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 damn i should slap myself for forgeting about photek. i dont know about the whole ragga thing though, it got kinda lame after a year or so for me . but i did like alot of tracks with bounty killah, beenie man, ninja man, and the ever so rare sean paul ragga shit. i loved the dark/downtempo stuff and the really jazzy shit that was hot for a minute. a few other dj/producers/crossovers are R.A.W the originator dj yellownote some of QBERT's experimental quasi fast paced jungle scratch stuff? tricky has a few nelly fertado timbaland released a single with aliyah over a fast paced dNb beat ..... but if your looking for variations to beats or ideas you should really look into some of the old gabber/hardcore stuff like rob gee delta 9 dig dug ..................or if you must happy hardcore......if you have to. if anybody lives in L.A into the jungle scene have you seen an asian chick that spins jump up and sings over the tracks? if you have ,what the hell is her name and can i marry her? oh ya good lookin out senior habit:king: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
