  1. The second and third are the most successful for me mainly because i get a sense of you reacting to what was happening while you were painting. And i think that is what they are about, process. There are moments of quick editing and then reinvestigating. The first and last look too easy, like you could've told me what they were going to look like when you started them. And that may be partly because of the thick black outline around most of the shapes...i think it was step in the right direction on the next two where the outlines are painted over, rethought, and carefully brought back in. What if you used color instead of black? A lot of your lines and shapes are the same size and that may be what makes them look unnatural like someone said above......i guess i'd have to say the third one is most succesful because there is a lot of variation in the marks and application of paint...you were able to let some of your earliest marks and ideas show through your editing and that talks to me more about the process than the other pieces. that's the end of my two bits
