I see why you might think that, but it's not true. Art Crimes was started by me, in Atlanta GA, while I was in school at Georgia Tech, in 1994, and I named it before it went online, before I ever saw any CT graffiti. This photo was shot by one of my family members in CT a few years into the project when she was in school there. The names of the crew and the website being similar is just a coincidence.

A Miami TV producer contacted me just now with an urgent request for Hispanic, Spanish speaking graffiti artists today. Please contact him directly, ASAP if you're interested.
