After listening to a great Primus song, watching a National Geographic special and deciding to stay away from the US Merchant Marine, I've just determined that I'm headed over to alaska in search of a jobe in the (salmon) fishing industry this summer. Hopefully, I'll be on a boat taking on squalls and thunderstorms and keeping alive, but I'll take being on an offshore processing liner too considering I have no experience at alll. Anyone have experience?

I've always thought that the editing of a picture is an important part of photography. It's just that before digital files, everything took longer in the darkroom. And please; a mediocre picture is still a mediocre picture. Cropping aside, Photoshop isn't a miracle for every shitty snapshot. And yes, overprocessed pictures suck. Just look at Nick Knight. I'm just kidding, Nick Knight is an awesome photographer. I just don't like some of his colour work- It just seems a bit tacky sometimes- and he shoots film.

orly? The meter is pretty shitty on it so getting one with a broken one would be great if it saves you a few. otherwise it's a fine piece of work.

I'm pretty sure that camera uses film, and has a fixed fisheye lens. I may have seen it in the Guggenheim gift shop. For like 60 or so buckos.
