  2. MESTHREE, I don't really know much about wireless stuff 'cause I dont have a wireless router or anything like that. However, someone told me about this program called 'Network Stumbler' that lets you find wireless LANs in your area, might be useful. You can get it at http://www.stumbler.net/download.php?site=...aller_0_4_0.exe. Perhaps someone else can furnish mesthree with more info on how she might use the information she finds with this program?
  3. 'yo, deadly deadly, YAHHHH get ready. here come the styler, wilder than freddy. dead, cause of kreuger, BOOM, i do ya, just to let ya know gravediggaz comin to ya'
  4. that shit is fresh :haha:
  5. I happen to be listening to this right now, what are the chances... this shit is hot, I don't care what anyone says count bass d!
  6. I'm with you on that... <!--QuoteBegin-Graff Jesus@Nov 1 2004, 03:41 PM a lot of people i know like to hate on neckface. i tried for a little, but this guy is just way too funny. consider me a fan... Quoted post I started this post hating Neck Face, but his shit really is hilarious. I guess my turning point was at that El Neck Face Chinga Tu Madre shit. I wouldn't say 'NECK FACE IS THE ILLEST' or 'HE GETS UP MORE THAN YOU' (even if he does, that doesn't really matter to me). He's on some other shit, and I think if anything the degree to which he's on some other shit is worthy of respect.
  7. :biglaugh: IMO, education is key in all walks of life, I could be a fucking moron though. I'm not for talking shit on the internet, but if an education in graffiti means pissing in people's eyes with some toy bullshit, I'm not for that. I am all for someone who'd rather get their work up to par before they go blanketing their city in it, if checking the posts on 12oz. can help you do that, good deal. A true toy is gonna be just that, even if his toy-ass namen all over town. But, different strokes for different folks, ya know, who am I to judge. <!--QuoteBegin-placer_sf@Dec 19 2004, 09:55 AM Basicly the bottom line is: you need to wise up and get a better perspective on things, widen your hor’izons and so forth. Graffiti isn't about this stupid forum full of immature people, I could sit here all day trying to explain what graffiti is, but you wouldn't get it, the only thing for you to do is stop typing and go out on the streets and discover graffiti for yourself. Quoted post Graffiti isn't about 'this stupid forum', but 'this stupid forum' is about graffiti. Any forum this large is going to have a bunch idiots, there's a bunch of idiots in the world. Like I said, a toy's gonna be a toy, its cool you expressed your opinion, but I doubt you just saying 'get out there' is going to cause any epiphanies. That's my 1/50th of $1
  8. Stem cell from umbilical cord blood used to treat paralysis SEOUL -- South Korean researchers say they've used stem cell therapy to enable a paralyzed patient to walk after she was not even able to stand for the last 19 years. Chosun University professor Song Chang-hun, Seoul National University professor Kang Kyung-sun, and Han Hoon from the Seoul Cord Blood Bank said they transplanted multi-potent stem cells from umbilical cord blood into the 37-year-old female patient who suffered from a spinal cord injury, the Korea Times reported Saturday. The woman could now walk unassisted, the scientists said. "The stem cell transplantation was performed on Oct. 12 this year and in just three weeks she started to walk with the help of a walker," Song told reporters at a news conference in Seoul. The woman's legs were paralyzed after an accident in 1985 that damaged her back and hips and confined her to a wheelchair. The researchers said they isolated stem cells from umbilical cord blood and then injected them into the damaged part of the woman's spinal cord. Us 'Godly' Americans wouldn't want paralyzed people walking again either, imagine what kind of effects it would have on the wheelchair business! Maybe I'll need stem cells to save my liver some day.
  9. I only read the first post in this thread, not even the whole thing. I took it as a general rape type of thing, I wasn't aware that she had consented. If she felt a connection, and said it was all good, I don't see the problem, except with her. So the first part of my first reply goes, as for the rest I can't really say his actions warrant a beating. Silly hoes are always trying to play that shit, I'm not saying your girl is a silly hoe but most ladies have at least an element of silly-hoeness, so check that out.
  10. Talk with your girl about it, that sort of thing can fuck someone up. It seems as though she might already have the situation twisted if she thinks its her fault, so try to find out what problems she may have and help her work them out. If you can find out who he is, give him a savage beating, preferably within inches of his life. If you're uncapable of that, you'd suprised at how many people, even people who'd claim they're not violent, are willing to deal a beating to someone like that. If he goes to county on an SO charge, and you know anyone up in there, you can give them the drop on that skinner.
  11. Thanks for that seeking. I agree with you whole-heartedly. Is the importance of style that's as much a part of graffiti as paint itself not as important in other forms of artwork? If graphic designers (vs. graphic artists) are infact not artists, then does it have to be that way? Are the people that employ these graphic designers not concerned with that designer's own creative touch? Why can't every graphic designer be a graphic artist? I see many trends in computer art, scan lines, and those little honeycomb-like bunches of hexagons, to name a few. Same old fonts, alot of the same color schemes. Whats with that? Even something as simple as expanding on one font that already exists, much like a writer might expand on one letter style and eventually find his own, would make a world of difference. How about some curved lines instead of those same old straight scan lines? There's so much more than could be done, I don't understand why people play themselves to the same old bullshit Even with a lot more kids getting into writing nowadays, graffiti could be seen as a rather esoteric artform when compared to something like graphic design, but I'm assuming the two artforms are roughly the same age. Graphic design could be seen as though it's progressing at a faster rate, with more people involved overall, more people developing software (as opposed to people developing paint I guess, when it mes to graff?), schools willing to teach people to use the software. Can't go to art school and get some sort of degree in graffiti writing. But when it comes down to it, who wouldn't say graffiti is progressing faster artistiCcally, with all this trendy stagnation in graphic art. I seem to be rambling here, and have gone way off topic from the original post (I started that way, actually), but I guess what I'm trying to get at is uhmm... if graffiti somehow became more lucrative and 'useful,' would the progression of styles grow stagnant (One might argue that this is already happening, or event that it's already happened, but I don't see that.) like seems to be happening/have happened with graphic design? When things like Marc Ecko's 'Getting Up' and graffiti rugs pop up, does the progression of our artform take a beating?
  12. 'I don't give two fucks.' I think fuck is best when pluralized
  13. 1. favorite single tee (graphic). Serial killer had some dope shirts, I don't know if they're still around. They had one with this dude holding up a crack vial (I think it was a movie scene), said 'For Those About to Rock' 2. favorite blank (just the shirt itsel, not considering graphics) I don't really have to say much about this one. Any shirt would do, I prefer a comfortable one. 3. favorite overall company. I dont know if Serial Killer is still around, like I said, but they had some funny shit. I seem to just pick them up here and there, one way or another, don't put too much thought into any particular brand. 4. top three favorite colors in order. I think any shade of blue is nice. burgundy is hot cakes. that traditional t-shirt grey is cool too...
