Word. Thats not really the reason that its taboo though. Its just that alot of writers think its unnecessary, and not worth the hassle of burning a hole in your hand just to make your tags a little more permanent.

Could someone reccomend me an ink, homemade recipe or brand, for a pilot that will give me good results? I've been thinking of buying some nero from bombingscience but I'm no expert so i was wondering if I could get some input on this. thanks.

Just because I'm asking for an alternative to nib poking doesn't make me a retard. You can't depend on people to always do everything the right way. You know yourself that no one wants to sift through 18 pages of garbage to get one question answered. uh.....one question..... how do you flare tips? Specifically, I'd like to give my pilot and magnum some flarage. And I mean flared to the max, but without completely destroying the marker. Thanks.
